Established in 2019, the Naked Optimism art collective currently consists of three Singapore-based multi-dimensional female artists who create joy, beauty, and thoughtfulness through their art.
In 2020, Naked Optimism opened their first independent group show - The Dominant Line - consisting of six artists from Singapore, Indonesia, South Africa, United Kingdom, and China, showcasing at private members’ club 1880 during the Singapore Art Week, raising significant funds for The Contentment Foundation.
The mission of Naked Optimism is to provide a safe space for artists, driven by their passion for commonality, multiplicity and solidarity, to produce groundbreaking work, either collaboratively or as individuals toward exhibiting together in gallery shows or public spaces.
